Chromatography

What did we do?
For this, firstly we cut up strips of chromatography paper then went and ruled a 2cm line from the bottom, then got waterbased markers and drew a big dot at the top of the line.
Then we got a beaker filled with meths/water, then folded the paper onto a pen that could go over the beaker without falling in, then placed the pen over the beaker and the water should be at least 2cm so it can just reach the line, then the water will dissolve and go up the paper causing the ink from the pen to spread making these pretty colours.

What is chromatography?
When you separate the colour from the substance.
Chroma means colour in Greek, and graph means picture/photograph

OMG WE PERFORMED!

In this, I have learned that working helps shy people feel confident, and teamwork is always best! Some things I found challenging were, some people were too nervous so they didn't come on stage, so it was a little open where I could see everyone. What I would do differently than before would be, trying, because I know I wasn't trying my best, and I was hiding. I enjoy the choreography and dancing, it was fun and we were at the moment. I am wondering if I did go back and change how I performed would it be better, Performing was really fun and nerve-racking for some of us, I enjoyed every bit of the performance.
